We visited during Teesside Restuarant Week 3rd -8th March. We didn't book, but saw it was quite full which is always a good sign, just managed to get a seat. I've done many Restuarant Week meals in the North East and they can be a bit bland. But not here at Chapters Stokesley. Home made Pate, full of taste and well presented, the Pan Fried Hake on a bed of risotto and chorizo was really good and many a chef would be delighted with theses skills, the braised beef bourguignon on tagliatelle was superb. Friendly staff, good service, worth a visit! 20 for 2 courses this week only.

I've been here many times, eaten breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, stopped for coffee, drank alone, met friends and enjoyed special family gatherings. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the food is always good quality. Mostly I return time after time because the staff are so friendly and attentive, from their friendly welcome to their thanks when we leave. The little things go a long way.

Gorgeous food and gorgeous staff. I must admit the last time we went things weren't as good with the service, restaurant week, drinks delayed, orders mixed up ect. Lady who serviced us just seemed like she had no idea what she was doing, I can only assume she was new and abit stressed. It was a busy night but she kept forgetting that she'd already taken our order, delayed our drinks for ages, kept coming over to ask if we want more drinks even though we hadn't received our first drinks. I think a new member though so can't really complain. Food was perfection as ever.

Popped in here on a whim when visiting Stokesley with family. Weekday lunchtime and we managed to get a table. Our order was taken quickly but we still got enough time to decide what we wanted. The food arrived quickly and everything was hot and really good quality. Both my Auntie and I had the full English breakfast while my fiancee had the eggs benedict. Three empty plates, can't say much more. The staff were friendly, helpful and pleasant to deal with throughout and it's a nice central location in the town. We parked further out but the town centre car park is quite close. My only gripe is that the toilets are a bit cramped but they were clean and well maintained so still happy to give full marks. Will be back at some point I'm sure.

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal. Took advantage of the "Teesside restaurant week " menu. Great value, excellent service and attentive, friendly staff. Food was excellent. We've visited before and will definitely continue to in the future. Definitely recommend a visit if in Stokesley or near by.
